I am looking for anyone with the last name of Aebli who lived in Lac qui Parle County, Minnesota, in the 1880s and 1890s, especially if they were born between 1850 and 1880. I'm trying to find out how they are all connected. Several Aeblis who were living in this area appear to have emigrated from Glarus, Switzerland, which gives me more reason to think they're connected, but I seldom see Aebli siblings from that generation listed on people's online family trees.
My 2nd great-grandfather was Nicholas Aebli (1863-1914, born in Switzerland, immigrated in 1884, died in Itasca County, MN) who married Catherine Freuler (1860-1890) and then Martha Husser (1867-1930). With Catherine he had three children, and with Martha he had ten children. I know that from 1895 to 1913, Nicholas and Martha Aebli and their children lived in Augusta and Marietta in Lac qui Parle County, MN. It's possible that they lived there before 1895 too.
I would love to find out if any of the Aeblis living in or near Lac qui Parle County were siblings or cousins of my Nicholas Aebli. Thank you!
