I have a letter of membership for my Great-grandmother Willa Matilda (Tilda) Adcock Tubb form the Primitive Baptist Salem Church at Olgesby, Texas. The letter is dates August 2, 1930.

Additional information I have is as follows. She was born Willa Matilda Adcock on October 17, 1982 in Rome GA. Parents were J.M. Adcock born July 19, 1849 and Elizabeth (possible stepmother) born October 5, 1848. There were 11 children in all.

I have pirture of all 11 of these Adcock Childern as adults. Also have there birth dates.

Jennie(the baby girl)married Dan Richardson. Joel,Sallie Adcock Kidd, Willie, Myra who married an indian named Elmer Turpin, and other writing say Myra married James Scroggins. Nora Adcock married Al Kidd he was the brother of Sallie Adcock Kidd's Husband (Bill). So Nora and Sallie married brothers. Have a mention of Greenville Texas connected to Willie and Joel. A picture of Bill and Sallie Kidd was taken in Alvarado, Texas.

Willa Matilda Adcock married Joseph Monroe Tubb on March 4, 1902. They had 3 daughters Lona Lee Tubb Milner born February 8, 1903 in Star, Texas Hamilton Co.
Vina Viola Tubb (never married) born December 5, 1905 in Mills Co. Lena Velma Tubb Kincheloe born in January 3, 1917 Oglesby, Texas Coryell, Co.

I believe the family moved to Cross Plains, Texas around 1930 and all lived there until there deaths.

Address for Mr. and Mrs. Hurbert Adcock in Bision S.Dakota. A Note says Willie had 2 sons.
