My father is Arnold Ada and his father is John Ada from Cape Vincent, NY. I don't know of any other relatives on grandfathers side..... But Ada is not a common name. We must be related somehow.

I have a friend who may be related to you. She has copies of music and poems written by Alice Ada dated 1933-1945. Also in the paperwork is listed Harry and a son who served in the war?

My friend has no living relatives either and is looking for answers regarding her family tree.

Can you help???? Please respond

Was your John Ada of Cape Vincent born 1868 or his son born 1897? Can give you some web pages for the families.

Hello,
I have been trying to find the origin of the last name Ada. My grandmother was Ethel Marie Ada.
She married and then became a McClure.
Please email me at shandamcclure@yahoo.com, I would love to know if we can find out what the name means and where it came from.

Thanks and good luck!

Hi, I'm an Ada, too. My great-grandfather was John Francis Ada who married Cora May Dennee. I have other Ada information for you.
