I have two letters from west cramlington, northumberland written by susanna (lowther) absalom, david & (wife)jane(gregory), and matthew dated 1870 and 1879 to possibly john henry absalom in australia.

I have had these letters for about twenty years and were past on by my father's aunt all of victoria (father's aunt did family research in @1950s-80s).

My query is firstly to absalom descendents in victoria and nsw how this connects to my own family (no direct ancestors with the surname absalom) and if there isn't one to return these letters to their rightful owners.
