He was on the WPA list, Rose Hill stated as being in Davenport, Scott, Iowa; it's in Buffalo, Scott, IA. Burial confirmed by City Clerk who emailed me a copy of the burial permit.

He died of an intestinal obstruction at Davenport's Mercy Hospital on 18 November 1936 and was interred on 21 November 1936.
