Dear George and All,

I have recently connected ABDEE to my ABDY/ABDEY tree. ABDY originated in Wath Upon Dearne, Yorkshire, England. Many moved to the outskirts of Yorkshire also LONDON and outskirts.

I have a lot of information if I can help you with your ABADEE.

Julie, UK, Eng.

Hi Geoff, I'm researching the Isaacs family and Henry Isaacs married Sarah Abadee the daughter of Solomon and Rebecca Abadee. I actually find the Abadee's an interesting family, the name is very unusual. Hope you can help, kind Regards, Jo.

Dear Geoff:

I've been researching the Benjamin/Abady/Abadee family and its extended branches for some time.

My connection with the Abadee family of London and Melbourne is via the marriages of Jonah Abadee with Leah Benjamin, Mordechai 'Mark' Abadee with Julia Benjamin, and Hannah Benjamin with Moss Joel, son of Amelia/Simah Abadee

I'd greatly appreciate being able to view your family tree. My research is not on the internet; but I'd be very glad to share my considerable degree of information with you.

Thank you for any help and very best wishes, Andrew Kopkin

Andrew sorry for the delay in replying but we have been moving house. Where do you live? A lot of the Abadees went to Australia in the 1850 and 1860s. Some however did remain in the UK and that is where they are now. I dont know who you are related to but my father Warwick Abadee wyabadee@ozemail.com.au has a copy of the family tree since @ 1730's. Some stuff is missing but most of it especially the old stuff is actually there. My father is lecturing on the vessel Queen Mary 2 at the moment and returns to Sydney on or @ 23rd Feb 2011 so dont email him till after that.

Please let me know where you live, your age etc. My email is geoffbts@gmail.com

Thanks and best Geoff

Hello:

I am researching part of the Abadee family for my friend Mamie Solomons, who is about 75 years old and is connected through Jonah Abadee (b. abt 1790) who married Leah Benjamin (b. abt 1800). They lived in London, and had the following children: David, Mark/Mordechai, Moses/Moss, Amelia, Henry, Solomon, Hannah, Amelia, Simma/Simmy.

Do you have any info connected to this part of the family?

Thanks!
