Seeking info on the Pfaeffle family from Switzerland who immigrated to New York City. I know nothing of the Swiss Pfaeffles, just the family born in New York. I would appreciate any info. Thank you.

I have been tracing Pfaffle but when looking up the german telephone directory (in English) it comes up as Pfaeffle! Now I am tracing that spelling as well. Do you have any names & dates avilable you would pass onto me, to see if there is a link? Dorne.

After recieving part of the German telephone directory and have also been told, this surname is apparently common in Germany - and I thought we had died out! I am trying to locate the Pfaffle/Pfaeffle families from Weinsberg, Germany. My ancestors were (back in the 1700-1800's) "Winedressers".

Hello!
My Pfäffle (Pfaeffle) family research has "brickwalled" me in Neuffen, Schwartzwalskreis, BW, Germany.
However, I have been following leads that I believe will take me back to Switzerland.
How has your research been coming?
Are you interested incomparing notes?
Best wishes,
Jason

PFAEFFLE is NOT a Swiss name, but you find many PFAEFFLI in Switzerland. Yvette

Hi Dorne, I happened to see another thread, like this - as in a while ago now - but I have noticed that you are regularly on Ancestry. I think we share ancestors: Christiane Pfafflen (or any number of variations) and Jacob Warner (likewise!). I am related through Frederica - Frederick - Frederick - Gary - Rebecca. Would love to discuss. Thanks Rebecca
