I must apologize for not answering sooner. Your sites were most interesting and valuable to me. The particular year, 1855, has been lost although the index still seems to be available. The Swiss government's new law for accessing records make it difficult for one to do research. My contact in Switzerland informs me that they now have to make application to do this type of work. It is a good thing that LDS has been actively at work microfilming some records for years.
