Arnold married and divorced Emilie Freda Wagnor (remarried Johann Mastling in Germany and had a son named Gerhardt) in Switzerland/Germany and had two children with her, Emma and Rose. He immigrated to the states, Paterson, Passaic, New Jersey in 1909 and Emma was sent a year later. He married Elizabeth Maria Senn aka Mary and had two children,Maria Elizabeth MEYER 1912 – 1991 and Rose Elizabeth MEYER 1917 – 1984. She divorced him *at this point I believe it is safe to say they all divorced him except the last one because he died while they were still married* and married Henry Altofer, a last name the girls chose to use instead. In the 1920 census, Elizabeth Senn (Lizzie Moyer) is living with a woman named Rose Mayer as well as her too girls so the divorce took place after 1920. Arnold is listed as a lodger. He then married a woman named Elizabeth and is listed in the 1930 census. We believe he died in 1938.

I have photos taken by Emma of individuals she was friends with specifically Ed Ullmer, Elizabeth possibly Ullmer, Bridget Comphrey and a few others who lived in Paterson, New Jersey in 1919's and 20's.
