I am looking for information on Barthalemeo Azithuno/Aceytena and Thomasa Olivia and their son, John Settoon. The name was changed to Settoon in the US. The name Azithuna/Azituna/Aceytena might only have been how it sounded to the people who were writing the information and may not be the actual spelling of the name.

John/Juan Settoon was in the Natchez Territory, Fort Natchez District, Louisiana, USA and stated he and his parents were born in Puerto de San Vincente, Castillo da Mancha, Spain. John was born about 1760 and married Anna Glascock/Glasscock on Feb. 16, 1795 in the Natchez Territory.

Would love to hear from anyone with knowledge on these people concerning their Spanish roots or information concerning the name.
