I am looking for any information on the surname Riego.

My GGGgrandfather was Adolfo Garcia Riego whose family was from Asturia, Spain. He came to Cuba as a youngman to fight in the Cuban Independence War (Ten Years War)
He lived in Cuba en la Calle Aguila, Havana. He married Carmen Dominguez.

I am trying to trace the name Riego in Spain.

My uncle's father's name was Leandro Blanco Riego. My uncle, Santos Blanco-Garcia, was born in 1902 in Molino-Pillanno, Castrillon, Asturias, Spain. He came to the US through Cuba in 1920. My uncle's father left Spain, between 1930 and 1946, but there were two sons and a daughter still in Spain. They were Silvero, Laureano and Herminia Blanco-Garcia. I don't know if they are still alive, but my aunt and uncle visited family near Giron in the 1970's.
