The correct spelling for the town is Yerington, Nevada. It is the county seat for Lyon County. I live in a town about 30 miles away. I have a 2004-2005 phonebook and there are a few Silva's listed: Vaughn and Shirley, an "S" Silva, and an Edward B.

There is a FHC located in Yerington. I was there once and the volunteers seem to know everyone who ever lived there - you might give them a call to see if they know or knew Anthony. It is a very small town.
