The parents of Marie du Cloux, wife of Jesse de Forest, were Nicaise du Cloux and Marie Aubertin. The grandparents were Jean du Cloux married with Francoise Roland, and Louis Aubertin married N.N.. (see also my homepage on du Cloux/de Kloe: http://www.geocities.com/Paris/1634/homepage/index.htm). The source for this statement is the published genealogy in the magazine "Eglises Wallones" (1892), written by A. H. G. P. van den Es.

Storm De Forest (b. 1797) was my great,great,great,grandfather. His daughter Susanna (b. 1822; d. 1887) married Harlow S. Sherwood. They had 2 children: Myron E. (b.1844; d. 1921) and Manissa (b. 1846; d. ?). Myron E.Sherwood m. Fannie M. Lowell (b. 1847; d. 1928). They had 6 children. Their daughter Netta E. (b.1877; d. 1952) married Frank R. Ogden (b. 1876;d. 1954). Their son, Myron Dale Ogden (my father - b. 1898; d. 1995) married Helen Jones (b. 1902;d. 1994). Their daughters are my sister, Joanne Ogden Ervin (b. 1927) and myself (Judith Ogden, (b. 1930). I visited the Robinson Cemetery, Gobles, Michigan in 2001, where Susanna Sherwood, Myron E. Sherwood and his family, and Netta E. Sherwood Ogden and Frank Ogden are buried.

My 2nd and 3rd Great Grandfathers surname was Forest and they were born in either Ottawa or Quebec. do you think theres a connection?
