I think that Bastian Broere is a great great uncle of mine because he is buried in our family plot at the cemetery like one away from my grandmother Laurel Collins Griek who actually just passed away in July this year. There are lots of Kahler's and Broere's and Collins and other relatives buried there. My grandmother is Laurel Kahler Collins Griek married to Walter W Griek. Her father was Lambert Collins. My own mother is names after her grandmother Betsy.

With my grandmothers death I have been putting together albums including records and very old pictures of all of these relatives from West Sayville who were fisherman and baymen. I am putting together a lot of loose ends.

I'm going to the cemetery tomorrow anyway and I will get the births and deaths of my family to share on this board. I would also be happy to share any info I have.
