Jan Ophoff (shoe-maker) born in Rooskirchen or Nortkerk Germany around 1778 as son of Johann Caspers Ophoff and Catharina Larbus, he died in Raalte on 11 Sept. 1830, he married in Raalte on 20 May 1811 to Antonia Hegeman born around 1780 in Hellendoorn as daughter of Jan Hegeman and Harmania Roelofs, she died in Raalte on 8 Sept. 1854
