Surnames: de Bueger, Poen
I am the daughter in law of Frans Pieter de Bueger born in Amsterdam 1928. Frans' father was Franciscus Gerardus de Bueger who married Neeltje Poen in 1927. Frans emigrated to New Zealand 1949/50. My sons are the last of this line of de Buegers, while my father in law talked very little about his past I am passionate about giving my sons a geneology they can pass on to their off spring. If you have any information regarding Neeltjie, Franciscus or the de Bueger name in general I would be grateful in hearing from you.

Hello Tracy,

Franciscus Gerardus de Bueger married on 11-8-1827 in Amsterdam to Neeltje Poen.
They were both 24 years old and born in Amsterdam.
They divorced however on 17-1-1958.

Attached are the transcription of this marriage and the original marriage certificate.

Good luck

Hello Tracy,

I sent you some information about the family Bueger and Poen.

Till now I did not receive any reaction from you.
So I do not know if the information is correct or not.

On this site it is normal that the questioner let something know to the sender about what was sent.

My apologies Robert, I have had a family member who was taken unwell suddenly and I have not been on line for some time. The information you have sent me corresponds to what little information we have and some of the photos in our possession, it has also cofirmed we had Ada's name correct - I was concerned it was a nickname which is why I had some trouble confirming that. I really have appreciated the information that you have sent through, are you linked to this family by chance? If you are researching this line I am happyto prvide you with data on the New Zealand links.
Kind Regards
Tracy

Hello Tracy,

The registrations:

1e. We have the registers of births, marriages and death. They are made starting in about 1811, in periods of ten year. The birth registers are 100 years closed for public, the marriage registers are 75 years closed for public and the death registers are 50 tears closed for public. This all for privacy reasons (the law).

2nd. We have the population registers. Since about 1850 every town had to make them. In that case the Town Hall knew where people lived. Of every family, a family card was made.
When a family moved in the same town to another street, it was also written on those card.
When they moved to another town, a new card was made in that town.

Because of the registers of births are closed for 100 years and marriage for 75 years, the family card can give more information.

That is the significance of family cards.
-
On the family card you also see the religion people had or when the- moved.

The family card of Franciscus Gerardus Bueger gives also his religion. (column 10) He was Roman Catholic (RK), but since 16-2-1932 he was not Roman Catholic anymore. From that date he had no religion.
His spouse Neeltje Poen was Dutch reformed (NH)
The children had no religion.

Column 12 gives the occupation of the person. Franciscus was bread baker.

Column 15 gives the date that these 2 persons got their own card.

Column 16 gives the name where they came from.
Franciscus came from Leopold Cornelis de Bueger (his father)
Neeltje came from Pieter Poen (her father)

So, you see, a family card can give a lot of information.

I’m not linked to the family, but I only try to help people, worldwide, to trace their Dutch ancestors.

I cannot give you a copy of the civil birth (11-10-1928) of Frans Pieter de Bueger, because that is closed for public. But I found in a newspaper (dated 12-10-1928) an announcement of his birth. Frans Pieter de Bueger was born in “St. Anna Paviljoen”, a part of the OLVG (= Onze Lieve Vrouwen Gasthuis). This was a hospital in Amsterdam.

I send you that announcement as attachment.

I have some more information, if you want to have that information too, I will send that also.

Let me know on my direct e-mail address, because that more direct.
