I'm not sure if you have seen or read the book "Wooden Shoes West" by Father Scott Vandehey, but it is about his family coming from N. Brabant to Little Chute and Hollandtown, Wisconsin and then moving to Oregon. It has lots of great information and quite a few family trees listed in it. I don't know if there is a IBSN number for it or not. If you need more info, let me and know I can call the local library that has a copy.

Fr. Scott (Scott A. Vandehey) recently retired from being our priest, but he also has his second edition of the Vandehey geneology out as well, called: On Good Ground. I don't see an ISBN # on either book as I'm looking at them, but you can purchase the books from Father Scott or from the Sisters there at the Convent (on-site) at the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish in Verboort, Oregon. The number to the Parish/School is: 503.357.6990.

Dear fellow Ancestry members:

My uncle is the Rev. Father Scott Vandehey; author of "Wooden Shoes West."
I am very much interested in getting the word out that his book is back in publication.

Until now many related families had a difficult time getting a copy of this book for their family library

A paperback version of the original 1979 publication is now available on amazon.com

http://www.amazon.com/Wooden-Shoes-West-Henry-Vandehey/dp/15...

All proceeds of this independently published book go to Father Scott Vandehey and charities of his choice.

Best Regards,

Neil Vandehey
