On http://boeken.eindhoven.digitalestamboom.nl/, scans are available of the population registers (BR, or Bevolkings Register in Dutch) of Reusel until 1920.

They have not been indexed, and there are hundreds of pages, but if he lived in Reusel prior to 1920, you should be able to find him there.
