Hello Holly:
Auke Schaafsma provided some good information for you in his response and more information is available through
www.genlias.nl. The site has been a great help for me and it shows your "Henry" was Hindrik, the brother of the Jan Warntjes, born 1837, in my files. Jan married Jantje Engelkes Abbas, a branch of my Abbas ancestor line.
Here is some information from Genlias that will help break a wall for you and will tease into checking the site right away. I've translated the information but you can follow along on GenLias.
5 May 1869: Bellingwolde, Groningen, Netherlands; marriage record # 6
Husband: Hindrik Warntjes, born in Vriescheloo, now part of Bellingwolde, age 23
Parents: Adriaan Jans Warntjes and Geessien Lukas Bakker
Wife: Wolterdina Wolters, born in Stapelmoer, Dld (Ostfriesland, Germany), age 25
Parents: Wolter Berends Wolters and Topke Troff
Adriaan and Geessien's marriage is also there and you should find many relatives in Vriescheloo and Bellingwolde.
Good luck with your research;
Roger Peters
