I am researching the Sleek line from William R. Sleek who, I believe, was the son of John. Wm. R. was born c. 1857 and married Mary Ella Beegle. They had a son named Sewell who was born in 1882. The person I'm seeking is the granddaughter of this Sewell: Thelma, daughter of Sewell E. Sleek. This Sewell was born in 1913. Can you help me?

Sorry, I don't have a Sewell Sleek.

I am sorry to bother you since these message boards are out of date, do you still need or know someone who needs this information regarding Slick/Schlick--starting with Elleus Slick, Johanes Slick, Jacob John, etc. If so, email me. Thanks, Rene M. Kingsley

Gary,
If you send me your e-mail, I can send you a report of 5 generations. It is 12 pages starts with Elleas Schlick from Netherlands. His son Johannes b. 1725 in Rotterdam, Netherlands. If you can handle a larger file, I can send more generations.
Most of my info was given to me, so it may not be fact.

Hi everyone. I am a little late to the game, but I wanted to see if anyone else that might belong to this family had done DNA testing. I and my great aunt have done the testing and would be curious to compare our results to yours. If you use GEDMATCH.COM our resouces are A125616 and A434281. We reside on Ancestry as well and if you do a surname search there, use the spelling SCHLICK.
