My name is Debra Honea and I am researching the family history for a friend of mine. I am researching his mothers maiden name "VanderKolk". I have not found any information other than that the family lives in Blackhawk county, Iowa in the United States. If there is any information that you can give me I would very much appreciate it. The mothers name is Eileen Minnie "VanderKolk" Blake. Her Fathers name was Frederick Joseph VanderKolk and her mothers name was Laura Meda VanderKolk. They also lived in Blackhawk county, Iowa . Frederick was born Oct. 24 1914 and died Aug. 1982 and Laura was born Feb. 17, 1918 and died Dec. 1994. I looked up the Social Security index and they where issued in Michigan between 1957-1958.
