I am the oldest son of Albertus Gerard Teunissen. My father is one of 12 children born to Cornelius and Grace Bertha (Mulder)Teunissen. This family moved to America in the early 1920`s.My father is one of 9 boys and 3 girls. One of the brothers and one sister stayed in the Netherlands. All members of that generation have passed. I was told once that my grandfather was one of 4 brothers born in the Netherlands. they had 54 or 56 kids. A few years ago when I was in the Netherlands, I found the family name to be huge. The American family is also huge. I don`t know if we are related but this will give you a start. I think the family lived in Barneveld and Ede.this family dates back to the late 1800`s.
The names may have changed their spelling due to immigration errors. two of the sister`s married names were Van Roekel the other was Cora Teunissen Boone.
