Can you get more information on my husband's gandfathers family. His name was George Sammut (think this is how to spell the surname). However he was born in Musta Malta on 28/29th January 1892. His father was called Charles. That is all I know. Did he have any brothers or sisters

Am in search of the Zammit clan that moved from Malta to Tunisia.

I have a George Zammit in my tree born to Joseph Zammit and Maria (nee Vella), probably early 1900s. He had a sister named Ida and brother named Jean. Let me know if there is a connect.

Thx marc

Dear Jennifer

I am struggling looking for my mothers family PISCOPO in malta. I do have a tree but my mum wants to know about her mothers side of the family.
My mum only has little memory of her mother as she died when my mum was about 7 years of age. It quite sad because after grandma died my mum was sent off to convent till she was 18. I have tried so hard to see if there is any living relations.
Could you please help me solve this.

Child, Maria Concetta Piscopo born 1902 ( mother)
Grand father. Emmauele Piscopo
Grandmother Rosa nee Petroni sive Patrone ???

Regards
Christine

My Great Great Grandfather and my Great Grandfather came to the U.S. from Malta in 1920. Their names were Giovanni Busuttil and Carmelo Busuttil respectively. In the U.S., Giovanni went by John and Carmelo went by Charles. Giovanni was first married to Rose Chetcuti. She died sometime after the birth of her last child in 1916. Giovanni remaried in 1919 to Giovanna Xherie. Giovanna went by Genevieve in the U.S. They had a child Josephine (step sister to my Great Grandfather) in Malta. I have family alive in Malta, but it has been difficult to contact them. The family I'm aware of would be the descendants of Vincent and Mary (Busuttil) Agius. I'm interested in learning more about the Busuttils and the Chetcutis I have no further information on those two lines. Any help you might be able to give me would be most appreciated.
