Hi,

I'm actually in Luxembourg right now doing some family research. I found some of my ancestors in Olm and Nospelt (via the 1843 & 1846 Population Registers) and was wondering if you could do a lookup in the book mentioned below for any Jung's and Hymes families from around the 1843 - 1846 timeframe.

Additionally, do you know where I may be able to purchase this book?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Dorothy,

I believe my Great grandfather was also named John Nicholas Meisch. The family settled in Aurora, Illinois. G-grandfather was a police officer. Could this be the same person? My Grandfather was Adolph C Meisch.

Hello,

I see that there was a famous William Bonifas who emigrated from Luxembourg to the UP of Michigan. I am an American who has been living in Luxembourg for the last 15 years. When I do a search on the P&T (that is Luxembourg Ma Bell) they show a concentration of Bonifas' in Nospelt. It is not far from where I live in Bascharage, so if I see anything interesting I give you a call.
