Her mother's maiden name was Fanny Piercy Lombardini - she grew up in Huddersfield West Yorkshire where her father William Lombardini worked as a carver and guilder. He was born in Italy in about 1803 and his father's name was Bermarita. In Huddersfield at the same was another family of Lombardinis. The head of this family was John Baptiste Lombardini born in Switzerland in 1785. He was the master carver and guilder. I am sure the two families must be related but I have no idea how to trace people from Italy or Switzerland. Any ideas?
