I am trying to trace an Italian WWII POW called Domenico Albani.

He was initially based at Camp No 42, Exhibition Field, Holsworthy, Devon, UK and then lived and worked in Thornbury at Fred Priest's family farm (Kingsford) for approx two years (circa 1943-45). He was the only POW working in the village and had red hair. His father was a farmer and the nationality of his mother was German.

Apologies the details are so vague, however, I would be grateful if anyone has any information regarding this gentleman/his family or can offer any other assistance to aid my search. Thanks in advance.
