My family comes from Brez, Bolsano, Levico, and Fondo with surnames of Battisti and Abram, Dona and Mosken, also cousins to the Menghini family.

Grandfather Camillo Giuseppi Battisti (9 May 1873 - 17 Feb 1930) came to USA to Colorado in 1901 through le Havre from Fondo, although he was originally from Brez. He was son of Giovanni Battisti (29 Mar 1842 - 19 Jul 1921) and Domenica Abram (29 Jun 1844 - 16 Mar 1921. His siblings were Angelina, Maria, Nicole, Ursula, Paula, Catarina, and Candido.

Grandmother Ida Barbara Dona (6 Mar 1883 - 1979) came to Colorado in 1903 with her brother, Davide (4 Nov 1985 - 1979) from Brez. They were children of Antonio Dona (27 Oct 1842 - 21 Dec 1933) and Bona Mosken (1850 - 1895). Their siblings were Maria, Virginia, Fiorenza, Michele, and Herman.

I know that relatives operated an inn, the "Star of the Alps" for some time.
