Is anyone else using the Siracusa records on Ancestry.com? I have spent considerable time over the last several months in these records with great success!

Here is a little summary of what I found for my 2nd great grandfather, Sebastiano Cimino in the records of Carlentini. I did not have his death date until now.


!DEATH: 1917; He is listed as alive in the 1909 birth record of grandson Giovanni son of Antonino Cimino and as deceased in the 1921 death record of his daughter, Anna. I scanned all of the indexes for the years 1909 to 1921 but here was no index for the years 1917 and 1919 on Ancestry.com. The actual records or "Atti" for 1917 were available and I found the record on Image 6 of 50.
The death record is Atto Numero 32.
Date of Death: 2 Apr 1917
Place of Death: Carlentini, Via del Leone al numero senza ( which means without house number)
Father: the late Alfio Cimino who in life resided in Carlentini
Mother: the late Anna Gulizia who in life resided in Carlentini
Wife: Carmela Grasso, daughter of the late Alfio Grasso
