I would like to research my husband's family who emigrated to Rome from Sassari in 1917 and never returned to the island. They were Salvatore Bellu and his wife Concetta Masala Bellu. His parents were Serafina Sanna and Gavino Bellu. Concetta's were Antonio Masala and Angela Orru.

I don't know where to begin to look for records!
