I am beginning a search to look for my great grandmother who was born in Millesimo abt 1857, Carlotta Colozzo or Fracchia(married name). Immigrated to US in 1907 with 2 of 5 children. Her children, John(abt 1878), Louis (1886) and Markus (1889) did not accompany her to US, but left Italy in early 1900's.

Holger Jakubicka hola como estas justo estaba buscando informacion de mi familia gambetta por lo que lei en tu historia he visto que hay un poco de coincidendica con la informacion que me han dicho mis abuelos, bueno lo que me contaron que eran cuatro hermanos que han venido de italia uno de ellos se quedo en tacna el otro en arequipa el otro en el callao que seria nestor gambetta y el otro no me acuerdo mucho, bueno el que se quedo en arequipa seria jose gambetta que se caso con agustina caceres quien ella fue su segunda esposa, ellos tuvieron hijos unos de ellos era carmen rosa gambetta caceres que nacio en 1889. y tuvieron si no me equivoco 5 hermanos. bueno ahora se que en mollendo se quemo la municipalidad donde tenia todos los registros de defuncion y nacimiento y que tengo que sacarlo en la iglesia o algo asi, pero lo que queria saber si es que habia un parentesco las las personas que tu escribres. bueno ojala sea asi para tener mas informacion.

I am searching for a man by the name of giuliano Giuliani, born April 23,1932 in Vado Ligure, Italy He married a woman by the name of Marta Sirca in Oct. 1961. He use to be a mechanic on a ship that would occasionally come to the USA.

However, I just had to write anyway. My Bartolomeo married a Pizorno and their children were Mike, Louie, Dottie, Elmo. Mike Zunino was my grandfather. Mike married Dosilina (Dena) DePaoli. A descendent of Maglio was Beato VINCENZO MAGLIO. The century in which he lived is not known. I believe Beato Vincenzo Maglio lived in Orco, comune of Orco Feglino province Savona, Italy (original name ARCHAE or Castrum Archae, first mentioned in a document of 967 AD and passed under the dominium of Marchesi Del Carretto in 1142 AD). My grandparents --- Pietro and Giovanna (Nave) Toso --- migrated from Liguria to California around 1900. Pietro came to the U.S. first, then sent for Giovanna.
He came to the U.S. along with two brothers each of whom chose to use an alternate spelling of their last name, so I cannot be certain what surname they used in Italy.
Certain family documents and stories indicate that both Pietro and Giovanna came from the Genoa area.

Prali Villa is a "frazione" of Prali in the Province of Torino (Piemonte)...a "frazione" is a governmental subdivision "attached" to a nearby larger town for administrative purposes. Since it is so small (like a neighborhood), Prali Villa does not show on any Map.

I'm trying to discover relatives of Louis [Louie] Charles Emanuel Gazanno [Gazano, Gazannio] who emigrated to Louisiana, in the US. He was either a ship captain or a riverboat captain on the Mississippi. His dates are approx 1830-1891. I was told that he had living relatives in the San Remo area. I would like to get a family history of his ancestors.

Staricco surname in Borgio Verezzi

I am trying to find info about my great great grandfather Giovanni Bautista Staricco. He was born 5 Aug 1851 in Borgio Verezzi Italy. Before 1876 he left Italy for Peru. There he met Angela Tiscornia who was born 29 Dec 1859 in Italy. She was there helping care for her sister's children. Giovanni and Angela married in Peru about 1876. They had at least 2 children there: Mary Pauline b 1877 in Lima Peru and Rose Dorothy b 1880 also in Lima Peru. In 1881 they left Peru and went to the US settling in Alameda CA. They had 3 more boys: Cosmos Tilio and Damon Milio (twins) b 1890 and Columbo Jack b 1892. According to the 1900 US census Angela had a total of 8 children but only 5 were living. I don't know where these 3 were born or died, nor what sex they were. Any help?

I am looking for information about my ggggrandparents. Stefano Garese m Giacomina Groviotto (both born in Italy, do not have dates). They had a son Antonio born 5 Aug 1852 in Varazze. He married a Caterina Parodi (father Paulo Parodi) there and they had children, Stefano, Bartolomeo, Pietro, Paulo, Giacomina, and Alberto before leaving for the US. They arrived Ellis Island in 1901 and came to CA (SF bay area).

I would live more info about these families please.

I have no information on your family members, but if you were not familiar with Varazze I wanted to tell you what a beautiful beach resort city it is. Part of the Italian Riviera, it has lovely beaches and crystal clear water...an absolutely beautiful place.

Four of us in my family visited there in May of 2002 on a search for information on our families, Protto, Fazio, Cerruti. If you every have a chance to visit, don't miss it...oh, and you will need to speak Italian or French!

My relative (great grand-father) was Eugenio Zinola Odella, married with Celestina Ferrari in Italy.
They has 2 child in Italy (Millesimo), then they emigrated and had 7 more child here in Uruguay.
The parents of Eugenio Zinola were Gerbasio Zinola and Teresa Odella.

We know even there are some Zinola from Roccavingale, but until now, don't know if thery're from the same tree.

My father was a Gambetta from Mollendo, Arequipa. He was born in 1925.
His mother was Carmen Rosa Salas and I belive his father was a Manuel Gambetta who died in 1929 when my father was 4.

history.

Two brothers Gambetta had formed the large family three
of Gambetta.
Emmanuelle Augusto Giacomo *21.11.1834 Albisola Capo,

He was married with Herminia Bonatti, also from Italy,
