Hints:
1. The record date is NOT the birth date which is inside the record and is, correctly, Jan 5th.
2. In order to find any siblings, you need to browse each and every year's index (http://www.antenati.san.beniculturali.it/v/Archivio+di+Stato...); indexes are either at the beginning or at the end of every year's record book OR in a separate image file which can be found here http://www.antenati.san.beniculturali.it/v/Archivio+di+Stato... for specific years (not all of them)
Obviously, you'll browse the close years, so the search is not too bad...
I use to search for the parents' marriage record in order to restrict the range to be searched. In those times it was unlikely (but not impossible) that children would be born before the marriage.

My grandfather was a Cipriani from Terlizzi but I have little info about the Ciprianis left there (he lived in Rome, where my mom was born). From this picture of mine I took in Terlizzi http://www.ipernity.com/doc/geo8/501972 it seems like there's many Ciprianis in Terlizzi. I'm sorry I have no info about any Bonaduce.
I found on Facebook many persons with last names of other Terlizzi relatives (my grandfather's sister) connected to Terlizzi with no chance to "connect" our trees, tho'.
A good source of info would be the State Archive, where communal archives are collected after 75 years. The cons are that you have to there in person or pay a professional to do researches for you.

the Burelli family

I am looking for information on the members of the Burelli family who lived in Orsara di Puglia in the late 1800s/ early 1900s. The father's name was Dominick Burelli, and the mother's name was Maramichel. Some of their children were Mary, Nick, Mike, and Michelina. Mary and Nick came to America. Mike died in a storm without being married or having children. I don't know anything about Michelina. Mary married Leonard Defoggi and is my great-grandmother.

On Ellis Island a Domenico Borelli 49 yrs old in 1907 on the Italia ship from Orsara to son Nicola 211 Center Ave Butler, Pa. Domenico listed wife as Michele De Silva.

My fathers name was Vincenzo Trentadue. He grew up in Chicago - San Fransisco and was great friends with the Caparusso family in which my Aunt Marie married into. My cousin Paul Caparusso has created the Trentadue Family tree that dates back to the med evil times (to my understanding it was part of a doctorate program in the 60's . My dad was born in Bari 1919. I am first generation and am just now getting interested in our family tree.

Daniel, I have your great grandparents in my database and 4-5 generations earlier than them. Leonardo Riccardi's wife was Stella Michielli; Francesco Lenoci's wife was Domenica Orfino; Francesco Beato's wife was Maria Saveria Pasquale;and Vito Schiraldi's wife was Angela Sardone. I assume Vito Schiraldi was from Bari as that's where Giuseppe Schiraldi was born. What are your grandparent's names?

My great grandparents are Grazia Riccardi, her husband is Vito Lenoci, and Domenica Beato married Giuseppe Schiraldi, I do not know their mother's last names but their father's names are Lenorado Riccardi, Francesco Lenoci, Francesco Beato, and Vito Schiraldi. You might not have info on Vito S. he came from another town

Wondered if you ever rec'd birth records, etc. for your Belperio ancestors.
I am also related to the Belperio family. Anna Belperio is my G-G-G grandmother. She was born in 1808 and died in 1862-- she is buried in Alberona, a town not that far from Troia. I have been to that area of Italy twice, 2005 and 2007. Anna's parents were Giorgio Belperio (DOB unknown) and Scholastica Gioiosa (DOB unknown). They would have to go back to the late 1700s. Let me know if you have any history on the Belperio family.

Unfortunately I don't know where the photo was taken. I was just given it by family recently along with a bunch of other photos. I will see if anyone in the family can tell me. I'm assuming it was taken in Eastchester since that's where everyone was living around that time.

My name is Sandra (Medici) Newton. My father was adopted and 4 years ago had decided to have his adoption records opened. We learned that his father Francesco Petrelli had died before he was born. He actually died the same way as your grandfather, brain cancer. He too was also a world war I vet. They are buried in the same cemetery in utah very near one another.

The Petrelli's never knew about my father as Francesco was still married (maybe separated) from his wife Kate (Carrie). His birth mother Olga, came to Los Angeles in 1934 and try to raise him herself for about 6 months , but found it too difficult as a single mother.

The records that came back about my grandfather and grandmother led me to try to find out more information about the Petrelli's and to see if there are any relatives still around. Thank you for replying to my post, we would be 2nd cousins, if in fact Francesco is my father's father.

I sent away for the Italian birth records of the Petrelli's and found there were many children, I think 10, that were born to Francesco Petrelli and Isabella Priore.

I found your Grandmother, Marietta in the 1940 census and on the passenger list. Your mother must be Isabella.

My name is Marietta (Bavaro) Kummerle. My maternal grandparents were Guiseppe and Marietta Petrelli from Bitritto, Bari, Italy. My grandpa died in Feb. 1940 of brain cancer at the age of 52. I'd only met one brother, Philip who is now deceased. I recall my mother telling me he resided in Ely,Nevada at one time. He served in WWI. He also had a brother named Mike and a sister named Cecilia. Does this help?

I have all three of those people in my database but I haven't come across the birth places for Francesco or Concetta. Most of the Alfonsi's came from Modugno and the Lofrese's mostly came from Cassano delle Murge or Acquaviva delle Fonti. I'd suggest looking for Modugno birth records between 1861-1865 for Franceso. I suspect he died in Sannicandro since all of their 9 children that I've found so far were born in Sannicandro di Bari. I haven't come across his death record in Sannicandro yet.

I see this post was from 2004 but I came across it while looking for info. On sannicondro di Bari, where my paternal grandfather Vito Alfonsi, changed to Alfonso in the US. His father Francesco Alfonsi,and his wife Concetta Lofrese. I can't seem to find anything farther back than this. Do any of these names sound familiar or can you tell me where I can start my search?

Pietro Bini and Cosma Laneve were my 4th great-grandparents. Their son Guiseppe (my 3rd great-grandfather) was Marta Maria Bini's younger brother. I have gone back 3 more generations in the Bini line and 2 generations for the others. I can share my tree with you if you'd like to see what I have.

Hello, I too am looking for info in the Serini family from Bari or Casamassima. My father's name is also Francesco Serini. He just passed away 2 months ago and his death spurred me to try to find out more about his family. My father was born in 1936 and his father was named Nicola Serini. I am wondering if your Francesco could be an uncle to my grandfather? My father immigrated to Canada in 1967 when I was 6 years old and I am now trying to find other Serini family in USA or Canada. My mother tells me that he has cousins in USA specifically in Arizona. Any info would be great...

Hi Daniel; my name is William(Bill) Michael John Trentadue, and I live in Kingston, Ontario Canada. I have been trying to research my family tree which I have been told originates in Bari, Italy. My grandfather came from Bari; and he was a "United Church" minister. The only given name I have for him is "Michael", as I was named after him, my grandfather on my mothers' side, " William", and a great uncle "John" also on my mothers side I believe. By chance, I came across a "Vincenzo Trentadue" on ICQ, who hails from Modugno Bari and is an engineer.

Hello. I realize it's 10 years after the 1st post but I came across this while doing some research the other day. I found a Marriage Act in the City of Toronto for Michele (Michael) Nicholas Trentadue and Mildred Josephine Buckingham. Registered Jul 2, 1915. He was a Methodist Clergyman, born in Modugno (Bari) Italy. His parents were Nicholas Frank Trentadue and Filomena Sblendorio (my grandmother Annunziata's sister (born Sep 30, 1843, married James Piccolo). Their parents were Francesco Sblendorio and Domenica Ruccia. I hope this helps anyone who may be looking. I have attached a copy of the Marriage record.
