Hi Laura,

I don't know your Angelina Santoliquido but part of the problem with that name is that it was assigned by the Church to foundlings.

My great-great-grandfather Nicola Santoliquido of Triggiano Bari (1855-1912) was a foundling (his parents were unknown and he was left to the church to care for). I am also aware of a Francesco Santoliquido (1873-1930) born in Terlizzi Bari who was also a foundling. His grandson Anthony Santoliquido lives in Eastchester NY (or Westchester).

There was also a Giovanni Santoliquido who ended up in Chicago. I think he was from Forenza, Potenza. I spent a lot of time trying to connect him to our family but I know every descendant of my Nicola except for a couple of grandchildren of Michele Santoliquido (1881-?) who was born and died in Triggiano and had a daughter Maria who married a Di Fronzo and had chil;dren before her early death from TB during the war.

Are you connected to any of these Santoliquidos?
