I am attempting to find out more about my great grandfather Giovanni VALERIANI. I know he was born in Penne, Pescara, Italy in 1880. He was adopted as an infant and took the last name VALERIANI however his birth name is SCALI. He married my great grandmother Antonietta MARIANI. Together they came to America and settled in Maine and later Medford MA. They had 8 children; John, Joseph, Mike, Edward, Anne, Pat, Frank and Dorothy. Any information you may have regarding Giovanni VALERIANI, Antonietta MARIANI, their parents and/or siblings would be very much appreciated.
