Does anyone have any information regarding the Lane family in Gibraltar. My Grandfather was John Lane who died in the Bedenham explosion (1951)when he was 27 yrs old. I have managed to trace back to a John Lane (B. 1851) and Eloisa Brancato (B. 1857) with his father possibly being Richard Lane (B. 1817) married to Maria Padina (B. 1821 D. 1891), however I have not managed to confirm this. If anyone has any further information it would be much appreciated, Thanks in advance.
