Rhone American Cemetery

My husband's father died in March 1945 from friendly fire during the Battle of the Bulge. He is buried at the Rhone American Cemetery Plot B, Row 4 grave 10. We have much information about Almon David Watkins but no pictures of the grave. Since age and lack of resources make a trip to France impossible I am hoping someone could perhaps take a picture of this grave. I will pay postage etc. I am sorry that I am writing in English but I cannot communicate well enough in French.
Thank you in advance.

Mary,
The American Battle Monuments Commision has a nice website (above) and it looks like they will take a black and white photo for you (there is a link to a special request form, then you send it to Clarendon, VA). I have had the privilege of visiting several overseas cemeteries, and the offices are always wonderfully accomodating. I'm sure they would be willing to help.
Good Luck!
Michelle

Mary,
I know that this post is old, but I wanted to follow up with you. I am taking students to the Rhone American cemetery in June and we would be honored to take care of this request if you have not already gotten a photo. I want my students to understand the significance of those who sacrificed their lives and having a personal story will make it that much more powerful for our high school students.
Please let us know if we can be of help!
Julie
