Searching for ancestors of my family: Keawe or Teawe; possible Keaweehu or Teaweehu. We think the family in Hawaii came from Hiva (Marquesas) in the early part of the last millennium (AD 100 to AD 1400) and may have spread to Aotearoa and Rapa Nui.

Hi Keawe
Are you the Keawe who worked in Sears on the big Island? If so I'd like to know where you fit in the Campbell-Keaweehu line? I came across a photo from some guy in Berlin, Germany who has posted a picture of Maria Louise Campbell Eckart. In the photo is a full blooded Hawn who I belive to be the real Kaluna Keaweehu, I also came across of a piture posted from Oregon of Kaluna and William Campbell.

Hello, my grandmother's name is Nancy Keaweehu who was born in Kauai ( 08 Aug 1906 in Hanalei) and moved to Oahu. I believe her father is David Kua'ana Keaweehu and mother Akiu Kaheleula both from Kauai.

Nancy married Abraham Poki Kauhini in 1926 in Oahu. Their children are Helen (my mother), Arthur, Alexander, Robert and LeRoy.

Do you have any related information for the Keaweehu's?

Thank you so much,
Kathy
