has anyone attempted to find ancestors in Ariege online? I keep hitting a wall. I've had a lot of luck finding my Irish ancestors thanks to that country's digitization of vital records, but I don't speak or write French and don't know how to find birth, marriage and death records from my grandmother's village, Erce. I know there is a clerk's office in that area because a distant cousin whom I've never met worked there during the 1990's. However, I've lost track of her adn anyway, she doesn't write or speak English, to my knowledge.
