Thank you so much!

Surnames: LANG ENGELTER
Bon jour Nadine,
Merci.

I live in the US. I also have the name LANG in my family tree. The mother of my great-grandmother was named SOPHIE LANG. She married WILHELM ENGELTER, approx. 1850, more or less. I don't know where they were from, but some of the family was living in Metz approx. 1880. Is there a connection? Thank you.

Their children were : Angélique, Suzanne, Catherine, Jean-Pierre, Nicolas, Mathieu, Barbe, Marie Catherine, Marie Anne, Jean Barthel, Anne Catherine et Marguerite.
-LANG Angélique, born on December 3, 1708 in Rosbruck, deceased March 6, 1763 in Rosbruck, married in 1727 in Rosbruck with STEIN Pierre, born on April 1, 1702 in Bous (Moselle), deceased March 19, 1784 in Rosbruck. They had 10 children.
Unfortunately, I do not have a Sophie LANG, nor Wilhem ENGELTER. My LANG are a little older, but I hope perhaps that my information will help you to find a direction where to seek in the Moselle. Nadine
