I am trying to trace the family of Pierre Langlade born Aubusson 28th May 1812 and moved to Scotland between 1855-1865. He had three children one of whom was called Albert Langlade. His wife was Louisa formerly Louisa Isot (?).His son albert also had three children, (i) Pierre (ii) Albert George (iii) Annette. Does anyone have any information on this family please?

Dear Madam,
I read your questions about Pierre LANGLADE, on Rootsweb.com.
Pierre Langlade is one of my ancestors. He is my grand father's grand mother's grand mother. In my family, we have only few informations about him. My grand mother, who is 95 years old, has some souvenirs, letters and photos, and a Pierre's water-color of flowers. Do you know he was an artist?

Pierre married first time Henriette GRELET near 1840. H Grelet had got a child, Geneviève Langlade (born 1840), my ancestor. After Henriette's death, Pierre married second time with Louise ISAULD.
For the moment, I don't have a lot of informations about the Louise's children. My grand mother has a Albert Langlade's photo with his scottish wife.

Pierre died on 2nd november 1909, in Bonnyrigg, near Edinburgh. I founded a scottish web site ont Pierre Langlade's biography. It is very interesting: http://www.bonnyrigglasswadehistory.org.uk/Pierre%20Langlade... . Do you know it?

Are you Pierre descendant? I'm interesting by any informations you have about him.
I can send you Pierre's photo

Truly yours

I'm not sure if this is at all relevant as this post was some time ago, I have in my possession some post cards and I was looking to find out who they are. There are only 3 but the names are Peter Langlade and he has addressed one to his sister A Langlade and his mother A Langlade. The two postcards have a Yorkshire address? According to the postcards Peter was in F Battery, Royal Horse Artillary?
