Hi, I am looking for any children that Deans Shackleton and Caroline Burden may have had ,They were married in the House of his Excellency the British Ambassandor at the court of France on 9th Jan 1829 , Deans was an Iron Moulder so I would assume he went with Manby Wilson to work . I have found Three marriage's in Marseille with the Father of the Bride named Deans Shackleton this must be a son of Deans Snr , were there any more children to Caroline and her husband ? Caroline was a widow in the 1851 census ,living in Bath Somerset ,is Deans her husband Buried some were in France ?
the Brides were French ,Anna Berthe, Elise Alexine , and Anna Louise Shackleton.

Hi!

I looked up those records in Marseilles and found the marriage record for their father, Deans Shackleton, to their mother, Marie Cré. Deans is listed as the son of John Shackleton and Louise Eldrage. I looked up your Deans Shackleton and he came from quite a large family so John may have been one of his brothers making the Deans Shackleton in Marseille a nephew.

I found Caroline Burden Shackleton's probate record which I'm attaching. There are no children mentioned, just her nephews.

Hi, thank you so much for your input into finding something of Deans Shackleton and
Caroline Burden .In the 1851 census Caroline was back in England as a widow and living
in Bath Somerset England . Perhaps Deans died in France ,I can't find him in any census
from 1851 as dying in England . Again Thank You, Regards Gwen .
