Hi, We are from Belarus. My great grandmother was SARA FRADIN. She was the youngest if 11 children. I have found a record of her sister's wedding. Her sister was ROKHL FRADIN from KORMA, Belarus. Rokhl married HAIM KHOROSHIN from Gomel. there was also a brother MENDEL FRADIN. we have no idea who were the rest 8 siblings.... our Sara, the youngest of the 11 was born in 1898. Her sister Rokhl was born 1889.... Mendel is unknown. One more sister moved to USA in early 1900-1920th... name unknown,,,, Their father was ELIZIER MOVSHA FRADIN (Lazer) My great grandmother Sara Fradin married Simcha Fersht, and they lived in NOVO BELITSA, Belarus (Gomel region). Our FRADIN family and also KHOROSHIN families were bakers. My Sara Fradina was blind...

Hello! My name is Sara Fradin. How neat! I was very touched to see the photo. Thank you. My grandpa said all Fradins are related. Was there an "a" on the end of Fradin at some point? And you are in Belarus? Take care :) Sara

Wow! Sara, thank you so much for writing! Please, please, please ask your grandfather to tell me more. I also now understand that all FRADINS are related to each other. Yes, my FRADINS were from Belarus, I see a record that states the birth place, orcresidence as KORMA. Korma is a small place which is now Recitsa, or Gomel, I have to check...then they moved to Novobelitsa, that is Gomel region. I have touched bases with other researchers who have FRADIN families, but originated in Chernigov region, Ukraine. We are trying to find out if our families are related. Even did DNA testing. Please tell me about Your family :)

Oh, Forgot to tell you about the "a" at the end of FRAFINA. Russian language works like thus: Female surnames end with A. Male do not: Male: FRADIN, SINELNIKOV, RUDITSKY. Female: FRADINA, SINELNIKOVA, RUDITSKAYA....Some surnames do not change: FARBER GORELIK SHULMAN.... It is just a specificity of this language.
