May one find indices online of Parisian divorces during the
1989-1903 era?

We look for a divorce between William H. Leavitt and Gertrude Margaret Rennyson. She was an opera singer, and he was an artist. They married in London in 1898, but both were known to be studying in France. We believe the divorce would have likely been there, though both were Americans who returned to the U.S.

He remarried, but in 1900 U.S. census, he called himself widowed, as he had lost a wife in 1893 before marrying Rennyson in 1898.

In fact, we are interested in any info about him from Paris, though we do have many news articles about his studying there over several time periods, but they don't include details.

Where can one find Paris city directories for this period?
