Any information you have would be wonderfula nd if you can give me Carl's wife's phone number so that I may contact her, it would be amazing! Glad to find new Riou family members... WOW!

There are more Rious who are Ephraim's descendants. Carl was my father's first cousin (Herman). I met Carl and Florence through another cousin, who like me is Ephraim's great-great grandson. There are records of our family in the 1900 and 1910 census in Monroe County, Fl. There is also a large family plot in the Key West cemetery. I haven't seen the photo of Ephraim, but I have seen one of Louis Riou, who was Carl's father.

Hi, I am Ephraim Riou's greatgrandaughter. I recently found out that Ephraim was born in Brittany, France and came to the Bahamas in the 1860's. I recently received a picture of his son, Louis also. He was uniform in 1906. Ephraim was a sailor, although my mom said he had his own boat. He was married several times and had quite a few children. My grandmother's siblings were : Louis, VIctor, Julia, Rosalie , Dewey, and Francis. His second wife's children were Harry, Coleen and Maud. I believe he had another child with Bella Ford and had a son named John Alexander Riou in Inagua, Island, Bahamas.

Hello,, I am a great grandaughter of Ephraim Riou. I've been searching for information about him also. I recently found out that he was born in Brittany, France. He came to the Bahamas ( or Haiti) in 1860. He had several wives. They settled in key west Florida. My grand uncles and aunts were, Francis, Louis, Victor, Julia , and children by his second wife were Dewey, Harry( Carl Riou's dad), Coleen and Maude. My grandmother was Rosalee from his first marriage to Ruth. I found a picture of Dewey and Louis. Perhaps Carl's son, Keven Riou can give you more information.
