Viquesney Viquesnel Visquesney L'Honore Duval
Does anybody have any French sources for the Viquesney family? Family tradition has it that Charles Viquesney came to the United States from Caen, Calvados, Basse-Normandie, France between 1828 and 1840 to do marble work on the facade of the US Capitol building.
Charles was said to have been born 29 Jun 1802 in Caen. to Pierre Etienne Germain Viquesney and Catherine Judith L'Honore. Pierre's parents were said to be Louis Viquesney and Julie Jeanne Catherine Duval.
