Pierre and Marie Polard first came to Montreal Canada sometime near 1650 from France. Their only son Olivier Quesnel was born in 1651 and married Chatherine Prud'homme. They had 12 children together. Jean Baptiste, Jacques Francois, Jean Pierre, Charles, Marie Elisabeth, Marie Catherine, Dominique, Raymond, Joseph, Marie Madeleine, Joseph, and Louise.
