Just happened to run across your post regarding Camille Laurent Juzang. My mother's father was a descendent of a Joseph Laurent 1/2/1729, Fort Toulouse, Mobile Fr Territory, Batholome Laurent, 1754 Mobile French LA, it appears he fathered Justine Laurent, her mother was Marie Louise Durand, 8/8/1765 French LA. It appears there might be some connection. I have been in touch with Juzangs on Facebook, but haven't gotten very far.
