Researching information about my Bosche (possibly spelled "Bousche" or "Boschee") family. My ancestors traveled from the Alsace-Lorraine area about 1807 or 1808 to South Russia where they lived in the village of Grossleibental near the Black Sea. Later, they lived in the village of Kassel, also in South Russia. In 1884 several Boschee families immigrated to the United States. Any information you may have will be much appreciated. Please contact me at Randy@Boschee.org or write to me at Randy Boschee, P.O. Box 60310, Santa Barbara, California 93160-0310 USA. Thank you!

helllo,
Have your Bosche ancestors ever been spelled just Bosch?
I have a cousin who is reasearching Bosch which was her Mother's maiden name.

Also, I saw Von Boscheimer in Germany. (Possibly related to the Russian group. The variant name spellings can get really frustrating.

The only spelling that has any relation to BOSCH is BUSCH. The older people pronouced it in German as BUSCH thus at imagration BOSCH somtimes came out as BUSCH. There are some BUSCH that are not related what so ever though!!

Mel BOSCH
