Wing Commander RM Horlsey DFC AFC is still alive and well - I know Baveystock passed away a few years back in the 1990s. Not sure if it is any help.

My father, (RM) Bob Horsley now lives in Eagle Heights near Brisbane. He is or was Hon Sec. of the RAF Escaping Society in Australia. He remained in the RAF for 28 years and was an air attache in Baghdad in 1959-61 and later Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. He retired as a Wing Commander with the DFC and AFC.

Noel,

This query isn't posted by me. Due to a bug of the board system back in 200 my address replaced the address of the original poster, when I wanted to correct the message subject line.

Greetings,

Dear Nigel,
I have been in contact with your father for several years now.
He did send me a message last week regarding this posting and that you had contact with Luc Matthijsen. Luc is the webmaster for Belgium.
If you need information regarding the crash of L7301 do not hesitate to contact me!
Cheers
JP

Good day Sir.
I saw your post today and I believe your father was the pilot in many missions my father carried out with him as part of your father's aircrew in the 617 squadron in 1945. My father was Edward Wilson Armstrong Flight Engineer. My father passed away some years ago and I am hoping to find photos of his time as part of your father's aircrew. I can give details of missions etc if needed. Can you help me?
