I am a Cujas. My Great-Great Grandfather Oliver Cujas Sr. Had a brother Joesph that married Artemesia Descutner. This led me to go deeper into my research and lead me to the Hainaut family which does have ties to use. My dad Merle was born in MsDonald (Cherry Valley). If you have any questions my email address is jcujas1@comcast.net

Hi
My mother's maiden name was Hainaut, her middle name was Artemesia, and her mother was a Descutner. The Descutners and the Hainauts came to the United States from Belgium and they lived in Mc Donald PA for many years. Thank you for your query. My first name is Melvin and the English translation is 'swordchief', which I use rather freely. In my research I did see the Cujas name. One of my best sources was the obituaries from Mc Donald PA.

I am Melvin Sollberger (aka Buz Sollberger) and the English translation of my first name "Melvin" is swordchief so yes I am in an indirect way swordhief only because I use that in my email address. Jules Hainaut was my grandfather, and yes I do mention my uncles from time to time. Yes I do have the family tracked back to Jacques (1675), but he is from the French town of Conde' (not Spanish). Yes there are different families and several spellings. I of course use the one on my family birth or immigration records. It is pronounced just as it is spelled. The name is historically pronounced "A" - "NO" (the French pronounciation). I am sorry that someone tried to hurt you. I am very honest.

Thank you very much - I am very familiar with Edward George Hainaut. He had four sisters and two brothers. He was my uncle (my mother's brother).
Yes very sad and he was so young. He is buried along with other family members at Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Cuyahoga Falls Ohio. Thank you concerning the death certificate. I am certain that I used his birth and death dates from the headstone in the family tree.

Your very welcome. Another thing that is so strange is that I have a very close friend that is buried in the same Cemetery! I use to live in Trumbull County, Ohio. Now, I live back here in Beaver County, Pa. BTW, Edward is Related by marriage: 7 steps to me. Didn't know this until coming along your post here. Funny how paths cross. Thanks for all the great work you have done!
