My great grandmother, Elizabeth Orlea, was born in Belgium 01 FEB 1858. I believe she was born in Mons or Frameries, Hainaut. She married Louis Duez or Dewey in Belgium; however, I do not know the date or place. They had two daughters, Rosa Catherine, 11 NOV 1876, and Louise, 01 Mar 1880, but I do not know where in Belgium they were born. The family left Antwerp in NOV 1882 on the SS Waesland and arrived in New York on 13 NOV 1882. On the ship with them was their friend, Alfred Joseph Jamotton, also from Belgium. The two men were coalminers. All five people settled in Pocahontas, Virginia, where in 1884, Louis Duez was killed in a mine explosion. In 1885, Elizabeth Orlea Duez married Alfred Joseph Jamotton, and I am descended from this marriage. Where should I try to find birth, marriage, and emmigration records for these people in Belgium?
